Power to the People – How Neiighbors are Helping Neighbors Build the True American Dream of Independence
Author: Andrew Van Valer | Posted: 30-06-2008 | Comments: 0 | Views: 3 | Rating: (139) (?)
All the political wrangling aside - it’s time for Americans to take care of Americans. When is the last time you talked to your neighbor? Or better yet, supported a fellow citizen in your neighborhood? Millions of families are turning to Personal Franchises running out of their homes as a solution to restore financial stability, time with friends and family balance to their lives. many of us are unaware of this new trend. Frustration. Anger. Confusion. These emotions ambush us whenever we stop to look at our global affairs. We are like strangers in a foreign land. We feel there is nowhere to turn for help, no safe harbor where our values are protected. We have few leaders willing to represent and fight for those values. We see our country veering so off course in so many areas that we feel powerless to turn it around. It can all seem overwhelming and demoralizing. Moreover, it is affecting our financial well being. Corporations are justifying taking care of themselves through outrageous executive compensation and excessive pressure from shareholders by moving jobs and entire companies overseas. Whether you know it or not, many of the most important decisions in your life are being made for you. They are being made by out-of-touch politicians, agenda-driven educrats, life-tenured judges, executives and in a polluted entertainment industry — all of whom believe they know better than you. Responsibility and accountability are principles that they preach but often do not practice. They have their agendas — and when little people get in the way, watch out. They are perpetrating a massive power grab that continues to widen the gap of the haves and the have-nots. Watch your wallet. Hide your children. Lock up the livestock. They’re coming for you. How do we reclaim the power that is rightfully ours? Our Declaration of Independence reminds us of the “unalienable rights” that are ours to enjoy: “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” These rights are dependent upon one another for survival. We often forget that we have been “endowed” with these rights by our “Creator.” Too often we have believed that “freedom” means that we have no duties or responsibilities to others. That “anything goes” mentality may appear to be empowering, but it is not. Instead, it creates a sense of anarchy that makes most Americans very unhappy. When we act irresponsibly, when we act selfishly. when we are lazy, or weak — that’s when we are most likely to give away our power. And “experts” are ever-ready to impose their own brand of order, set their own course for the future, and make sure you march in lockstep. The more power we give to the entities we don't believe in, corporations, mistrustful executives, the more they become the rulers and we become the ruled. The good news is it’s never too late. Although we have been pushed to the edge of the ravine, we can still save ourselves. But only if we face reality and acknowledge that our cultural and political leaders have failed us — and that we allowed this to happen. Here’s where things stand: Family matters The American family is besieged by a hostile culture, destructive government policies, and by our own selfishness. Under attack from all sides, the traditional family is now regarded as just another social arrangement, no better than any other. Despite every statistic showing that traditional family life is the healthiest for us and for the future of the society, the dominant culture continues to degrade its significance. Individualism is wonderful, but individuals without families are lost. Yet Families are the true source of power. Keeping it local Our ability to influence is greatest when decisions are made closest to home. Think about it: Your assemblyman votes to increase the state sales tax. In protest, you can send him an email or write a letter to give him a piece of your mind. And letters to the editor only go so far. Trying to reach or make change in Washington or corporate America is seen as impossible at times. It is no wonder that people feel powerless. And it’s only getting worse. If you let it. Yet we can buy from a local Home Based Business, thinking global while supporting local. Americans are know for supporting the "under dog" triumph in adversity - the American family is now the underdog. Buy, support and choose those who will support your neighborhood, keep it healthy to pay for your schools, protections, parks and the lifestyle that our forefathers fought so hard to gain us. On this independence day let's remember what it takes for the "colony" to remain strong and the people to stand as one and regain that spirit that made us the awe and leaders of the free world. Today, you can empower yourself by voting with your dollars to buy American made products marketed by American companies and sold by your neighbors in a business they are building from their home. Take Action So many people will complain about the jobs going overseas, the price of gas or the stores that seem to come and go. One of the stories that sticks in my mind is all the commotion Wal Mart was making in a few circles a few years ago. Now I have nothing against Wal-Mart or any other entity that is trying to build and honest and ethical business. But was I keep wondering is WHEN will those same people do some thing rather then complain about it? Many of the same people who complain about an issue, for example Wal-Mart, were the same ones that purchased their products from the store? When did we Americans get so lazy and POWERLESS? If we are going to give the power to someone else, then I guess we didn't want it in the first place. You do have a voice and you can make a change. One is to redirect your buying power and start to support people and establishments with products that distribute through the home. Why buy soap from a large supermarket, wholesale club, etc. when you can purchase a better soap home made for about the same price supporting a family close by, a not-for-profit a senior couple? The Home Business Revolution has begun. People are tired of going to jobs each day that they dislike and offer only poor compensation and uncertainty. They want the respect of being stay home parents while still being business professionals. They will not let this economy oppress them, they will no longer be reliant on the rich who get richer and take the tax advantages of business ownership only for themselves. Tired of empty promises, tired of relying on others who affect their job, their income, their family and their lifestyle. Stand with Cash Flow Potentials and free yourself from the bonds than prevent you from achieving your passion and their freedom! Start by supporting a home based business or a Personal Franchise from the home by coming to Cash Flow Potentials and seeing some of the businesses that are rapidly growing through expansion in your neighborhood. Go to the reviews section and you can see some of the great companies that offer superior products. Maybe one of these companies will fit your own passion and you may find the desire to start your own business, most of them are less than $500 to start and allow you to create a recurring secondary income that will allow you to capitalize on the dream set forward by our forefathers for each person to thrive in this great country of ours. Best wishes for an outstanding and exciting Fourth of July celebration as we enter this 232nd year as a nation.

What can we do to save the planet that will really make a difference?

What can we do to save the planet that will really make a difference?
We can all join Shop To Earn / Shop To Earth
How: Shop To Earth is a new company that launched their website in March 2008. In four months it has grown to over 15,000 members. (5,000 in the last three weeks). At this rate there will be roughly 200,000 to 300,000 members by September 2008. The business model of this company states that as a requirement of your membership, starting in September 2008, you and your group must spend $100 a month on green products. That's approx. $20,000,000 overall per month, that all these current members will be spending on green products.
The structure of the company is based on MLM marketing. Thousands are joining and will continue to join, and all of them must purchase green products every month. When you join, you are buying your own website shopping portal. On one side of your business are approx. 500 online retailers like Target, Walmart, Sears, Overstock etc. On the other side of your business are approx. 100 green companies.
It took $4.00 a gallon gas to convince American consumers to sell gas guzzlers and buy fuel efficient vehicles because they were forced to change. If the Shop To Earn / Shop To Earth membership grows to a million people in one year as predicted and they must buy $100 a month in green products, that's $100,000,000 a month spent on green products that would normally have been spent on products more harmful to the environment. You can help make a significant positive impact in saving the planet and make a great income while doing it.
If you are committed to a greener planet, you can play a part by owning your own website.
