The moment we lose our innocence, that is the very minute we begin the endless battle that ultimately determines our afterlife. One of the most popular destinies that all men loathe to be a victim happens to be the hell. According to the author of the book 23 minute in hell,Bill Wiese, hell is a place that all men despite their station in life ought not to think otherwise. Various factors has been cited that may propel or prepare an individual to be a candidate of hell, however its paramount to remember that, there is an alternative to hell, and in this case heaven.

Thus, as the author narrates, his encounter in hell, which was ghastly horrifying, with the searing flames, total isolation, deafening screams and the ultimate pain of being terrorized by the demons, he captures the innate opinion that all men fear and question whether the hell is simply a religious creation or is as a matter of fact really there. Intricately, as a religious icon the author has attempted to refute the more common allegation that, hell is just but a creation of moralist. Analytically, his 23 minutes have aggressively opened a new and insightful venue of ascertain the credibility of hell. Therefore, the book 23 minute in hell has explored all possible moral and religious factors relating to the life in hell and why man should avoid hell at all cost.

II. Background Information

23 minute in hell is all about a non believer who was placed in hell not as an observer, but as a subject of hell. Horridly he vividly recounts the circumstances that made him to be channeled for the decimal 23 minutes of horror in hell. The plot of the book is well placed in that it creates a captivating flow of facts with such precision that the message is self explanatory. Principally, the book is set around the concept of religious sanctity; hence the cardinal message expounded is in nature cautious and at the same time educating. Extracting some facts from the author, it's important to note that the prose used is strongly admonishing reckless living; therefore in relation to the ground the author has established it's crucial to note the Christian moral being the overall tangent by which the whole episode was modeled. Therefore, Bill Wiese, as a Christian has employed the values exemplified in the Holy Bible to argue his position on hell.

A. Reflection of Hell

Pain, torture and solitude can be said to be what depicts hell, according to Bill Wiese, being in hell is a excruciating, pitiful experience, Thus, when we live against the will of God while leading a rebellious life, actually we do paint a glimpse picture of how hell looks due to the pain that may come in an individuals life due to sin. Hence, sin is the principal gateway to hell (George 199).

B. Facts about Hell

Everybody is inquisitive as regards the afterlife, and now Wiese shares his insights to frequently asked questions such as: - Is hell a truthful fiery place? - Where is hell? - Do you have a body in hell? - Are there levels of chastisement in hell? - Are there children in hell? - do Demons torture people in hell? - Can excellent citizens go to hell? According to what Wiese has discussed in this book, hell is all inclusive, it wasn't in Gods plan to torment his people in everlasting pain, but necessity which was facilitated by mans militancy against the divine direction, hence God provided a path which leads to eternity, therefore, hell is for the evil, unrepentant, proud in heart and all those who hate God (Konde 44). The Demons run your life in Hell, you have no free will.

C. Religious opinion

Facing retribution in hell is one issue that the human race abhors, on religious perspective, there is a unison agreement that a divine hand intervenes for the sake of the upright, saving them from evil, meaning rescue them from the gates of hell.

1. Christian / Muslim approach

The two religions do acknowledge the prominence of supreme God, and it is that context that, they preach the gospel of love. As indicated the 23 minute in Hell, Bill Wisie has drawn a significant number of references pertaining to hell, from the Christian bible. Therefore, this is an indication that, the Christian community do believes and teach about afterlife in hell, hence, their approach is instrumental in advocating for love of God, and hatred for sin( Jackson 78).

II. Expedition to Hell.

Bill Wisie kick starts his voyage to hell one night while in a dream he is taken away, thus the journey began in his inner being.

A. Genesis of the journey

While sleeping, he is taken to hell. God shows him hell in all its dreadfulness and horror. He is confined into an excluded cell, where he was mistreated by demons.

1. First encounter, the Reality of Hell, its environment and its effect

He was exposed to a lake of fire. After a substantial encounter with the demons. It was after a succinct vacation with Jesus; that he was elated back to earth, with the message that Jesus is returning shortly and to reinforce the fact that hell is a genuine place. In brief this place is ghastly, full of obscenity and the demons are powerful and merciless. Naturally, no man can survive the very nature of hell; it's simply torture and pain. Thus, if the reality of hell can be individually taken, the impact could create a healthy community where evil could be shunned completely.

B.Who owns Hell, God or Satan

Initially God made hell to punish the sinners, according Laban (100), who claims that, later Satan took control of it, for its written he is also subject to destruction. Therefore, it can be said hell belongs to God as is heaven; as Phillip observed, Satan is just but a sojourner (224).

C. Moral Effects

Hell is not for the faithful, but everyone can be candidate, thus, it is not how one excellent he/she is but the bottom line is, is your relationship with God embedded in your life?

1. The cost of unfaithfulness

Bill Wisie have corageriously exposed the fact that, living in sin, being unfaithful and the blatant ignorance of the love that the author of heaven and earth showed by letting his son die on the cross for the sake of redeeming man from the murk of sin ,could be catastrophic. Therefore, the cost of unfaithfulness is eternal tribulation in hell for that soul which believes not.

2. Social Decay

The cost of moral decay is another element that could tremendously contribute to the destruction of many souls, hence ending up in hell. Our attitude, social attachments

IV. Conclusion

If men could avoid sinning against God, no man could lose his life in Hell; the reality is that Hell is real.

What is the right place for the mind in the Christian life? Throughout the ages the Christian church has struggled with this question. Some despise the mind. Others have much more time for it. Paul said we can have the mind of Christ . The Scriptures itself, may appear to say contrary things. On the one hand Jesus praises God when the wise and learned struggle to fathom the kingdom of heaven, but on the other commands his disciples to "love God with all their minds."
