Being Egoists Stimulates Us to Do Right Things

Where people surely go wrong debating against psychological egoism as phenomenon itself is in their beliefs that people must be looking either for a carnal or intellectual pleasure aiming to give the definition to egoism. But, when we regard the ultimate pleasure as a notion, which is, actually, nothing more then self-satisfaction gained by doing the "right" thing, it is quite obvious that people can do things that turn to be altruistic, but those actions are, virtually, a way for people to get that ultimate pleasure they are seeking for. I believe that people would mostly reject this hypothesis, because it seems "selfish”, and nobody wants to appear "selfish." It is quite obvious, though; that the obsession to gain this ultimate pleasure appears because of the fact that the world keeps on living and developing the way it did before. If we did not get pleasure from acting right, then what for we would need to do that. And if we did not strive to do right things, then we would, actually, live in an extremely selfish world where no acts of charity and philanthropy would happen. When understood this way the notion of psychological egoism should be rather praised then contemplated. In other words being egoists stimulates us to do right things. From the first sight it seems strange, controversial and simply untrue, but as you could see from the arguments given above it is really so. Only being egoists helps us to do good things for other humans, that is, to be humans ourselves.
