Buying an acoustic guitar- Amplified or not?

I'm considering to buy an Acoustic guitar. The thing is that I just can't decide whether I should buy an Amplified one, or not. I don't have gigs planned yet, but still, I would like to keep that option. Sound-wise, as I calculated, The same model of amplified guitar, costs 100$ less if not amplified, which means that for my budget I can get much more if choosing a non-amplified one.Any thoughts?

I've been playing on an 15w Peavey guitar Amp for a few years and now I wish to upgrade. I really like warm sound and therefore I was disappointed from almost each and every transistor amp I tried at the local guitar store. Until I tried a tube amp, I fell in love with sound and tone.
