The technological formats like MySQL and PHP are used in its composition and it is possible to use Claroline in accordance with the prevalent operating systems like Windows, Mac OS and Linux. It was only recently in 2007 that the Claroline Consortium was formed by certain prominent universities in order to facilitate its development.
