Your essay contains a lot of irrelevant facts and ideas that do not prove the idea. After you use systematical thinking the situation will change. This ability gives you and advantage over others. When you think systematically, you look at the object not only in direct coordinates, but also see the intersection of it with the other object in any sphere. Try to analyze not only your position, but also to overlook the whole situation. What is it that you need to do now and what will your next step be? Put your thoughts into a coherent system, like a timeline and act accordingly. Try to think about what your boss may respond and what the rate of your possible promotion is. The most essential thing is to see what can be done if boss refuses to discuss this matter or if skill enhancement takes more than three months. All these steps you have just pointed out are application of systematic thinking into practice.
