How to Choose Fire Extinguisher Stands

Choosing the right fire extinguisher stand is not different from choosing the right fire extinguisher. It has to meet the requirements of your specific need. Economizing is not also at the utmost importance when it comes to safety. In choosing the right stand for your fire extinguishers, what you have to be skeptic with is the quality of the product and its appropriateness of the stand with its fire extinguisher and location. What features should an extinguisher stand have?

For locations with no proper solid walls, a double fire extinguisher stand is ideal. Economizing is and issue here but it pertains to saving you from so much trouble with putting your safety gadget in the right safe place. When it comes to its materials, the extinguisher stands that are made from polyethylene are very durable and strong. You can also economize financially as this material can last for a long time comparing to the traditional fibreglass stands. This double stand can also hold extinguishers in areas where wall mounting is not practical. You do not have to fix this stand as it only requires you to lean it against the wall. The stand must also be designed to all extinguishers of different sizes and built. This stand is good for food areas as it is free from rust and shatter.

A universal fire extinguisher stand is also ideal as it fits just about anything- from a light carbon dioxide to heavier liters of water. Actually, this kind of stand is more inexpensive than the others. The great thing about this universal stand is that it has a base and a skirting cutout that will lean against any wall without being toppled over. The upright and landscape shaped designs fit this universal stand perfectly. Just like the double stand, this universal stand is deal for places where there is impossible wall mounting. It is also free from corrosion so it is suitable for food areas. It must also be very lightweight and made from vacu-formed plastic, which can be recycled.

For chrome fire extinguishers, the economy fire extinguisher stand is appropriate. Such an extinguisher stand must have a very neat base with three layers. This three-layered base makes the stand fit all extinguishers of any size and any type. There are also inexpensive double fire extinguisher stands that have a three disc system built. This three disc system built enables any type of extinguisher sit in it safely. This economy double stand is also good with chrome fire extinguishers, for both portrait and landscape shaped designs, and for areas where wall mounting is not possible.

It is not enough to just find the right fire extinguisher that you need. You must also find the right fire extinguisher stand to ensure the extinguisher’s safety. The double stand, the universal stand, the economy stand, and the economy double stand are all recommended. These stands are all suitable for food areas, for areas where wall mounting is not practical, and for all kinds of extinguishers of different sizes and built.
