Manifestation of Corruption

One of the principles of democracy is the world-famous freedom of choice that was fought for during ages. In everyday routine people meet a need to make a choice between what is good and what is easy and these to concepts differ. People of the 21st century are most likely to choose the easy way as they got used to live in comfort and coziness. Everything in this world is a matter of balance between the positive and negative poles, if a misbalance occurs the world, any world, is likely to fall apart. People are subjected to stress and other harmful influences of the society all the time. Consequently they are forced to make a decision that will cause the misbalance sooner or later. The question is will it turn into global some day? This is the question about the rotten human soul that is either going to resurrect or to be hopelessly taken deep down into the flames.

Those of the scientists that deal with language have established a logical chain of words that correspond best to the state of things we drive ourselves to. Here is it for you to follow: decay= decomposition=rotten=corruption=extermination. The word that is next to the last is meant to depict the overall state of things in the troposphere. Corruption on one hand is a process of decay in the world of physical or material body, on the other- a state of decomposition in the societal systems on which our life is based. Corruption in terms of social science is implantation of illegal ways into the solid system for personal gain. Here we differentiate mention bribery, embezzlement, extortion, nepotism and other ways to corrupt the generally accepted system. Bribery is a crime that involves offering, giving, receiving value matters in order to influence the actions of an official or other person. Embezzlement is the ownership of property without the confirmation of the owner that was not involved in action. Extortion is a demand of money from a subject of threat. Using nepotism people favor relatives or personal friends because of their relationship rather than because of their abilities. These corruption features are indispensable in any country or state where societal structures are present.

Corruption can also be defined as a plague, for there is no cure. No effective strategy against corruption exists nowadays. Consequences of corrupted actions ruin political systems, economical strategies, and social plans. There is nothing that can deny corruption and there is also nothing that can exterminate it. The source of corruption is the human soul and heart and when we realize what we are doing, maybe corruption will stop.
