People Who are Lucky

Life in the twenty-first century is difficult and we here it on the news every day. People refuse to realize that they are stress creators themselves and look for non-existing solutions to this problem. Modern technologies surround us and make our lives more enjoyable and, what is more, much easier. But when we face a problem or a failure the only possible solution you come up with is to sink hopelessly in the couch of your apartment and call a friend for help and support. This friend is always there to help you and you are extremely proud of his friendship. He has a reputation of a well-bread, educated, intelligent, rich and successful man with great sense of humor. These are qualities you adore but, frankly speaking, exactly they make you jealous. You fight this feeling but that brisk of luck your friend always has makes you frustrated even more. A friendly conversation is not improving the situation and you hopelessly close your soul for further interactions and become and egoist that is not interested in anything except your own sorrow.

We prefer not to talk about the cause of our spirits being low, but when discussion involves complaints on strange fate and hardships of life, we can spend hours and hours analyzing. We are ready to call everyone who happened to pick up a purse full of money from the street, who met a sweetheart to live together the whole life, who passed an exam without being prepared, who won a competition between the best writers without putting any efforts into it, lucky. Then what is "luck"? A good coincidence of facts and situations that create a favorable atmosphere for the object that gets rewarded for something he didn't put effort in. It is impossible to agree with this statement fully. All possibilities are created by the person itself and this is true. If you have established your aim, you have to proceed with it, not to stop and keep dreaming about it being realized. Success requires hard work, commitment, effort, action, desire and positive attitude. Success doesn't come with first attempt; you have to work your way to the top. The fact that you failed doesn't necessarily mean that you are a looser. "Try, try, never say "die", says the saying and it is trustworthy as any folk wisdom. Start your work with desire and positive attitude and the results will be more rewarding than you expected. Advancing you'll forget about thinking how wrong you were and would it be better to quit now. If such thoughts still appear in your head, throw them away and focus on what is really important. Now you can conclude how mistaken you were in the definition of luck.

You see your friend lucky no longer. He is just a successful person who stood up against difficulty and won the battle that lasted quite a while. He is a nice example to follow. A good quotation," Looser blames his failure on bad luck; a winner blames his failure on his carelessness" proves it. You already know who you are and why are you on Earth. Act like a winner and some people will consider you very lucky.
