The Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) Global Business School has roped in the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan to host its annual business and marketing quiz, for three years. To be held in association with Planman Media’s magazine - 4Ps Business and Marketing - it promises to become India’s premiere B-School quiz event.
IIPM, in this year of economic recession, has already placed more than 2200 students in India and 45 students abroad. Says Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri, the Dean of IIPM, said in a statement: ``IIPM is all about bringing world-class education as well as campus life experience for its students. Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan is ready to turn into a quizmaster again, not for a TV show this time but for a B-school this time.
Shah Rukh Khan was chosen to give the over all appeal to India’s premiere B-school quizzing event.
Earlier Shah Rukh Khan had helped many aspiring millionaires to fulfill their dreams through his game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 2 and this time it’s the turn of B-school children to have questions thrown at them by the superstar.
Reportedly, Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) has roped in Shah Rukh Khan to host their annual business and marketing quiz for three years.
The annual event will be held in association with Planman Media’s magazine, 4Ps Business and Marketing.
Arindam Chaudhuri, Dean, IIPM(The Indian Institute of Planning and Management) says, “The idea is to bring world-class elements in terms of education and the campus life of the students. Who else in India can make an event global by his sheer global popularity than Shah Rukh? He is perceived as the face of intelligent Bollywood because of his ‘Economics’ education background, his suave marketing skills and sharp intelligence. He is obviously the natural choice”.
