Airfield xray machines can mess up the film if it's's in your carry on ( since almost all of those cameras use ISO 800 film ) and that's the only bags you need to plan on bringing. You are potentially too frightened to try one of those underwater pouches for your first camera ( a Samsung S700 ) thanks to lack of reviews on the pouch-type it would require and you surely worry that if it became ruined you'd be out your fave camera.
