Growth rate of Telephones from wired to wireless technology

The technology has touched the life of several individuals. You can find technological gadgets in every part of your home. This has made us dependent on these gadgetries. Telephones have also become our need. One can't imagine life without them. It is mandatory equipment in every household and commercial.

Earlier, telephones were bulky and expensive. The extra large dial and receiver made it an immobile service. People kept them in their living rooms and ran to the location whenever the phone rang. The telephone was connected to the socket via a copper wire. Thus, it was impossible to move the telephone from one place to another.

Slowly and steadily, this shortcoming became a major concern. Technologists started looking for an option to eliminate the immobile feature of the telephones. This led to the invention of wireless technology. It enabled the users to communicate via wireless phones. It brought a huge revolution. People started discarding their wired phones and brought advanced wireless phones.

However, some people were uncomfortable with the bulky equipment. The wireless or cordless phones had limited range. Thus, the researchers started experimenting to determine a technology that provides large scale mobility to the phones and reduces its size. This leads to the birth of mobile phones. They are compact and easily accessible. You can carry them anywhere and everywhere.

Hence, the use of telephones escaped the boundaries of the home. People started carrying mobiles to their office, work and market. This mobility feature made it the choice of millions. The mobile phone technology saw a drastic increase in the number of buyers. People installed cordless phones in their homes and brought mobiles for their outdoor communication.

The growth rate of the telephones has set an example in itself. Earlier, it was just a leisure gadget but now it’s the need of every individual. Moreover, it just slips into your pocket and lets you reach a wide network of friends, family and colleagues.
