An electron microscope is a type of microscope that uses electrons to illuminate a specimen and create an enlarged image. Electron microscope has much greater resolving power than light electron microscope and can obtain much higher magnifications. Some electron microscope can magnify specimens up to 2 million times, while the best light electron microscope is limited to electron microscope of 2000 times. Both electron and light microscopes have resolution limitations, imposed by their wavelength. The greater resolution and magnification of the electron microscope is due to the wavelength of an electron microscope. The electron microscope uses electrostatic and electromagnetic lenses in forming the image by controlling the electron microscope beam to focus it at a specific plane relative to the specimen in a manner similar to how a light electron microscope uses glass lenses to focus light on or through a specimen to form an image. The original form of electron microscope, the transmission electron microscope (TEM) uses a high voltage electron microscope beam to create an image. The electron microscope are emitted by an electron microscope gun, commonly fitted with a tungsten filament cathode as the electron microscope source. A "light source" at the top of the electron microscope emits the electron microscope that travel through vacuum in the column of the electron microscope. Instead of glass lenses focusing the light in the light electron microscope, the TEM uses electron microscope lenses to focus the electron microscope into a very thin beam. The electron microscope beam then travels through the specimen you want to study. Depending on the density of the material present, some of the electron microscope are scattered and disappear from the beam. At the bottom of the electron microscope the unscattered electron microscope hit a fluorescent screen, which gives rise to a "shadow image" of the electron microscope specimen with its different electron microscope parts displayed in varied darkness according to their electron microscope density. The image can be studied directly by the operator or photographed with a camera.
The electron microscope samples largely have to be viewed in vacuum, as the molecules that make up air would scatter the electron microscope. One exception is the environmental scanning electron microscope. Scanning electron microscopes usually image conductive or semi-conductive electron microscope materials best. Non-conductive electron microscope materials can be imaged by an environmental scanning electron microscope.

Wild And Wet: Waterproof MP3 Player Accessories
By: Christopher S. Norwood | 26/12/2009It wasn't too long ago that if individuals wanted to listen to their music they were limited to where that music could be played. For example if a surfer wanted to listen to music it proved very difficult to utilize a cassette tape or cd while trying to catch a wave. Additionally, if an athlete or recreational swimmer wanted to use the pool they would have to rely on music being played from a device nearby the pool.
The history of beret
By: viviwyy | 15/12/2009 | ClothingAlthough worn as military headgear in ancient Greece, the modern origin of the beret is traced to the Basques, people living on both the French and Spanish sides of the Pyrenees Mountains. Centuries ago, the Basques were great fishermen and sailors, a fact that might explain the appearance of a very similar hat in Scotland. Both the Scotch tam and the beret are woven in one piece without a seam or a binding.
