Movies, sports and other TV shows look better at 1080i than 720p because there is not a great deal of fast action. 1080p is considered to be the top in HDTV because it has the highest resolution of all the 18 approved HDTV formats. It displays 1080 vertical lines of progressive scan video where all 1080 lines are displayed completely, giving the highest quality picture. HDTV will be the standard in the coming years and is becoming famous with consumers today.
