Light emitting diodes, commonly called LEDs, are real unsung heroes in the electronics world. They do dozens of different jobs and are found in all kinds of devices. Among other things, they form the numbers on digital clocks, transmit information from remote controls, light up watches and tell you when your appliances are turned on. According to a reliable source from china the display system is specialty lies in its ability to capture intense, unique moments to be played-back on the big screen. With real-time synchronization, live information broadcasts, and space for advertising, the new system is promised to fulfill the needs of Olympic basketball and NBA competitions.
The system is composed of three parts: a ring screen, a point control system, and a "funnel screen," and this display is very light in weight only 22 ton
The led display system now installed at the Beijing Olympic Basketball Gymnasium and it’s the first set of complete displays in China that is able to meet the demands of the National Basketball Association (NBA). It can also be utilized for basketball games; the LED system is also capable of being used for theatrical performances, real-time broadcasts, and background imagery.
