Low Level Lasers, Soft Lasers, Alternative Healing With Low Level Laser

With the FDA approving Low Level Laser Therapy as a valid means of treating several ailments with effectiveness and the entire tradition being backed by 30 years of research, it will not be surprising if people across the globe adopt this therapy as the foremost on their preference list. And why not, Low
Level Laser therapy (or LLLT) is known to have no (or negligible side effects) with the virtue of accelerating injury healing and relieving patients pain in no time. LLLT targets at biostimulating, that is, the effects of such therapy are biochemical as opposed to being thermal, causing no real damage to the patients living tissues.
There are four known effects that Low level Laser Therapy is known to render. They are
1.Cellular and tissue growth response, consequential of accelerated ATP production. LLLT also improves cell proliferation in addition to increasing calcium permeability in the cell membranes.
2.Assured pain relief triggered by increasing the endorphin release. LLLT also enables one to suppress the action of nociceptor along with increasing serotonin production.
3.LLLT is also known for its ability to better and strengthen the overall immune system response of a patient enabled by the increased activity levels of lymphocytes and blood photomodulation (a newly discovered mechanism).
4.LLLT also stimulates acupuncture points, thereby healing a variety of ailments directly and indirectly.
Low level or Soft Laser Therapy effectively accelerates cell and tissue repair in cases of acute injuries, at the same time stimulating the bodys own repair system to function more efficiently on the occasions of chronic or non-healing conditions. LLLT is being identified and adopted by practitioners across the globe as an effective alternative to the rather traditional medical practices. Although LLLT finds its most relevance in treating people with chronic non-healing conditions like injuries, migraines, chronic fatigue, etc, it can also be effectively used to treat an entire array of related diseases.
There are three parameters that the practitioners refer to usually when it comes to treating an ailment with LLLT. These three parameters are crucial to any operation and the nature of the ailment will solely guide these parameters. These three include
1.The beneficial wavelength of LLLT to be used for a particular patient.
2.The beneficial power level of LLLT to be used.
3.The beneficial amount of LLLT energy to be used on a particular patient.
Another equally important factor, in addition with the above, remains the choice of Pulsing Frequency as provided by the laser systems in use.
