Samsung has unleashed a home cinema system -- HT-WS1G Speaker Bar, a compact, stylish system that comes in the shape of a speaker bar that can be mounted on the wall, with the wireless subwoofer placed anywhere in the room to achieve maximum audio impact. Enhanced by 260 watts of 2.1 channel virtual surround sound, the HT-WS1G fully immerses the viewers in the show, so they can just sit back and enjoy. From only two speakers -- front speakers and a subwoofer, this system makes users to feel that a rich, high-quality sound is all around them.

With the included wall mount, it’s easy to secure the SAMSUNG WS1G to the wall alongside or underneath a wall mounted HDTV thereby users can maximize their room's potential and throw out their entertainment stand. So you can enjoy an elegant, cleaner living space. The 5.8 GHz powered subwoofer can be placed anywhere, even behind furniture or in a corner since it is wireless. Moreover this system has a Platinum Black Crystal TV Design that offers Optical Input.
There were 4 audio settings, each of which had distinct sound. The first was Cinema, which scooped out basically all of the mid-range frequencies. The second was Music, in which IMHO is the best setting that makes similar to the Cinema setting, but gives back our mid range. The third is News, which is giving the same sound that our TV speakers give. The last setting is a Pass mode which turns off all of the EQ settings in a flat mode.
