Spying Just Got High Tech

Spying has got increasingly easier over the years with the introduction of cheaper more easily accessible technology. The ability to spy on virtually anyone in now available and big brother is most certainly watching you.

The equipment available for surveillance has come on in leaps and bounds over the last 5 years. It used to be that you could listen into conversations using either airband or UHF transmitters which sent the audio out of the room where the bug was hidden and to your receiver which in the case of airband transmitters was only a matter of yards and with the higher power UHF possible a few hundred metres if you were lucky.

These transmitter were also mostly illegal for use in many countries without an appropriate license as they share frequencies with emergency services and even airplanes. Legislation was put into force to prevent the use of these airband and UHF transmitter and many prosecutions of Spy Shops resulted. This made the production and sale of this type of transmitter difficult and they are now fairly difficult to obtain.

However all that has changed with the advancements in mobile phone technology and our desire to have everything pocket size or indeed smaller. You can now install a tiny matchbox size listening device into a room and listen into conversations around the device from literally anywhere in the world.

You can buy a GSM Bug for as little as £149.00 at www.active-spy-shop.co.uk and they can be installed into clocks, plugs, even picture frames.

The devices work with a Sim card and you effectively dial into the sim and the device answers as would a mobile telephone. The high grade microphone then activates allowing you to clearly hear what is being said in the room.

With different models ranging from the larger to as small as a match box these devices are extremely covert. Look around your room and imagine where you could very easily hide such a small device and listen in from literally anywhere in the world.

Picture this scenario which is a true event and came from the purchase of one of the GSM devices from www.active-spy-shop.co.uk. A husband has suspicions regarding his wife's fidelity and is due to leave the country on business leaving his wife alone. He purchased 2 GSM bugs placing one in the bedroom of his home and the other in his wife car.

He then flew to Chicago. On his arrival he then regularly phoned each transmitter until he was able to hear audio from the location. He was able to listen to his wife in her car talking on her mobile telephone to her lover. Later that evening she was again heard from the bug in her bedroom and the audio the husband was hearing was enough for him to get the next flight home.

With a standby battery life of over 7 days this makes the GSM Bug the new kid on the block and is becoming very popular as more and more it gets discovered by those that need to spy.
