Email advertising is used as a promotional tool to promote the business of an organization over the Internet. Internet is a powerful medium that empowers an entrepreneur to reach out to the maximum customers across the globe. This form of advertising enables the marketer to reach out to the customers across geographical boundaries. This flexibility widens the customer base of an organization. It increases the market share of the company. This generates more profit and brings business to an organization. This is possible as the customer can give an instant reply to the marketer through electronic mail. Marketer can instantly respond to query and problems of the customers and persuade them to purchase the products and services.

Some Drawbacks of Email Advertising:

One should make use of this form of advertising thoughtfully to instantly allure the customer. The subject line of the mail should be attractive and gripping. You should also not make the message flashy that can make the reader feel your mail to be one of the unsolicited ones. A marketer should send the mails properly using advanced tools. These tools do not make your mail enter the spam. Careful and thoughtful use of this form of marketing can help you in producing effective results and bringing maximum business to an organization.
