The good news is that if you follow directions, you don’t have to invest a lot of time in formulating a complex business plan or thinking up new marketing directions.  The parent company provides this information for you.  Even if you have a natural tendency to be an independent thinker and “think outside the box” as it were, you can excel in MLM as it has practically no limitations except product type.  You might compare an MLM business model to a franchising agreement for a large company.  The major difference is that you need little to do no money down to start your new business and have much more freedom.

Don’t believe that all modern multilevel marketing is a waste of time because of myths about soliciting family members or cold-calling.  The fact of the matter is that most individuals involved in MLM today only speak to interested prospects and associates and do most of their communicating online.  Of all the work at home business ideas you will come across, social networking and MLM may be the most promising.
