Home Stagers Rescue First Time Real Estate Investors

Imagine yourself as a new real estate investor or “house flipper.” You’ve sunk a fortune into renovating your first property and you’re sure this is going to be the first of many successful “flips.” Instead, month after month of mortgage payments become due with no interest from potential buyers.

This was the money-losing and stressful scenario faced by clients of Paige Holm and Aron Bailey Bruser, Staging Diva Graduates and co-owners of Win-Win Home Staging and Redesign.

This client’s first real estate investment was completely renovated and had been sitting vacant on the market for 5 months, with zero interest from prospective buyers despite 6 open houses.

Knowing that empty rooms don’t help sell homes, the first thing home stagers Paige and Aron did following their home staging consultation was go shopping for rental furniture and accessories. They arrived with a truckload of furnishings on a Tuesday to prepare for an open house happening that weekend.

Thursday afternoon, two days after the home was staged, the real estate agent brought an interested buyer through the property and that evening there was an agreement in place.

The next morning the sellers put in a counter offer and that afternoon there was a signed Agreement of Sale allowing the cancellation of the planned open house.

The Win-Win Home Staging and Redesign clients were thrilled with the outcome and had this to say:

“We can’t thank you enough for your guidance through the process. Not only did you help us sell the property but it was such a pleasure to work with you both, Aron and Paige. Please feel free to use us as a referral at any time.”

Are you reaching out to real estate investors in your home staging business marketing? Why not put together a brief presentation demonstrating how a small investment in home staging can help sell their “flip” faster and for more money?
