How To Get Business Credit Lines When Your Personal Credit Sucks

Have you been rejected by the bank for a business loan because of your bad credit history? It’s not as tough as you think to get business lines of credit if you are willing to take the right steps. This is the best time ever to start a business and get business credit even if your personal credit is scraping rock bottom.

Obama Says Small Business is Our Backbone

President Barack Obama said it best when he told the American public that encouraging small business owners with the support they need will cure the ailing economy. Small business has been the backbone of this country since its beginning and there is no greater time or place in history than right here and now to start a business and be part of getting the American nation back on its feet.

Maybe you have been living paycheck to paycheck at a J.O.B. (“just over broke”) but you have a great idea for a small business that will create substantial income. It could be that you are just tired of giving all your time to build your boss’ business and you are fed up. Perhaps you just want to have more control over your life and be the one to call the shots.

You have to start by registering with the state and getting a Federal Tax ID for your business. Then you can apply for business lines of credit with companies that offer this to new businesses. By getting a number with Dun & Bradstreet you can begin to build your business credit through a Paydex score.

You Don’t Need the Bank’s Money

You don’t need the bank’s money to start a business. Hundreds of thousands of small business owners have started out with help of alternative business credit when the banks turned them away. Have you heard of a “little” company called Google? The two young men that founded what grew into a billion dollar company started out in their garage and used financing from alternative sources to expand their base. As a matter of fact, some of the most successful companies in this country were laughed at by the banks in the beginning and now those bankers wish they’d had more faith.

You can do the same thing with your small business. It takes time and dedication but thousands of small business owners with bad personal credit do it successfully each year.

By: Kenneth Kaufman | 02/01/2010
