I Plan to Venture Out in Wholesale Closeouts as a Business Opportunity

I personally have had some time to scour through a large amount of information on the web and I am very fascinated by what I have found out about wholesale closeouts. After reading many articles on wholesale products, I am baffled that I never thought about this unique industry as a business opportunity until now. I know I want to be an entrepreneur, and a talented one at that. I am always happy to discover a place that I can invest in. Liquidations have caught my attention and now I am thinking about them very seriously.

This industry seems to be a good way of making the extra money that many of us work so hard for on a regular basis. Having looked at the requirements for setting up a wholesale closeouts store, I plan to give it a try in the very near future. If I had the time and resources now I would have jumped into it right away. Something I am personally considering (not related to closeouts) is that I must find a way to have this run successfully by somebody else without having to invest too much of my own time. However, I do want to spend some time with it to ensure that it is properly set up and fully functional.

I am prepared for all the time and effort that will be involved.  As I continue gathering more information regarding wholesale product sales and liquidation closeouts, I will be ready to go full throttle soon. All I need to do now is attempt to get concrete information on where I can buy merchandise from liquidation suppliers at a good price. One place I found to be an excellent source is wholesale directories. I want to ensure that I get good quality merchandise at wholesale prices and then sell those items for a profit. I would like to specialize in jewelry as well as watches for now, but as soon as I learn the ropes I will diversify to other product lines as well. I truly believe that I can obtain good quality watches and jewelry at a great price. This will make it easy to build a good client base that will become long-term customers.

I also want to make sure that no customer purchases once from my store and then fails to refer somebody or come back. I believe I can do this by offering quality items at affordable prices. Once my store is up and running, I am definitely going to attempt to offer products such as furniture, house wares, and apparel from a wholesale closeouts supply source.

My personal plan is to set up an online store at eBay dealing with closeouts and also have another one in my home country. I know the competition is stiff at eBay but I will take it one step at a time and learn from experience. After some years I will be in a position to compete favorably with everybody else there. During this time I will learn as much information as possible from those who have been in this situation before me. I will look at how they sell products, what sales tactics they use, and pick the best practices to use in my own business. After this, I plan to have a number of websites dealing with wholesale closeouts. In the process of selling merchandise from liquidations at my online store, I plan to dig in deeper and perform more product research so I can continually improve my sales. I will invest in those products in the hope that I will make more money by selling what is in high demand. If you are in this situation and you are like me, don’t hesitate to give it a try. It may be one of the best decisions that you ever made.

By: Matthew Toone | 28/11/2009
People everywhere are far more scared of actually accomplishing their dreams than they are of failing to achieve them. My Business Success Story, After it Failed … Twice

By: Matthew Toone | 28/11/2009
In March 2008, I had an experience that I am positive many of us have had – perhaps several times. It all started with an IDEA in my mind! I had been talking with a friend on the phone and he mentioned something to me that sparked a business idea that I knew would work, and that I was extremely passionate about. However, much like everyone who has good ideas and dreams, I spent too much time listening to the voices of fear and doubt that I thus never acted on those ideas.
