Office Supplies Choosing good printer paper

So you have to ask yourself, which is the best one?

The short answer is: it depends what you are going to do! But here is a rundown of the most common options.

For small offices and home use, paper that is used for printing documents, essays, presentations etc. a basic bond printer paper is great. They sell in reams of average 500 sheets and are advertised as 80-100 gsm. Simple. This is the type of paper needed most of the time. Anything heavier, fancier or more expensive is simply a waste of time and money. The difference between 80 and 100 gsm means the paper is heavier weight, i.e. thicker. The main benefits are crisper finish and less likelihood of the text 'bleeding'.

Ok, next, if you think you need even heavier paper that this for a special document check first that the printer you own can handle it, most home and small office printers get grumpy after around 110- 125 gsm and that doesn't help anyone. Paper that sticks every time you try to print is a waste of time and effort.

Heavier papers are great for certificates, menus and other important documents that need to make an impact.

Beyond this there are different types of paper to suit specific tasks, Microporous or High Gloss Instant Dry Photo Papers are really the only choice for excellent results printing out imported or scanned photos. They have coatings on the paper to add colour richness, prevent colour bleeding, and heightened colour gamut ( the tones and sub-tones that make up the colours in an image) These are more expensive but give great results every time.

Hopefully this article will help you to know what to put in your printer for the majority of situations. Always look at the variety of papers on ofeer and look for the best fit for quality as well as price. This can save you an awful lot of time, hassle and money.

When choosing a conference chair, you want the chair to be comfortable, especially when some of your meetings may run longer than expected. However you don't want it to be too comfortable, so you employees or guests fall asleep. While you can't customize each chair for each person, you will want ones with a basic ergonomic design, because if your people are uncomfortable in their chair, you can expect to have to take more breaks.

Anyone with teenage children will understand the problem of a room scattered with the detritus of many failed hobbies. Karate suits that were worn once, guitars that become wall ornaments and books on ornithology that will remain in bookshelves forever. But this isn't just a problem of youth, if we're honest then us adults will admit to giving up on things far too early.

Get on to Twitter quickly it wont wait for you

By: Andy Calloway | 10/09/2009 | ECommerce
When Twitter hit the scene a few years ago it was dismissed as yet another 'fad' that wouldn't last long due to a particularly poor feature set. All it allowed you to do was to say what you were up to in 140 characters or fewer. Even SMS allows for more and so this limit was seen as a mistake, I mean, the Internet has limitless amounts of storage so why restrict anyone?

Using Twitter in your SEO Web design toolbox

Twitter is an example of how an incredibly simple idea can become a monster in a very short period of time. From it's humble beginnings in 2006 when the first tweets were things like "just setting up my twttr" (the original name was going to be a 'web2.0' style with no vowels) to "popping out on an errand", the information now sent over the network can be far more informative and in some cases, harrowing.
