When one talks about online businesses, legitimacy seems to be a big concern largely due to the many scams out there, however once again it is possible to set up a legitimate online business for very little outlay.
The trade off however, is that whilst the potential to earn good money exists it takes quite a bit of work, commitment & application to achieve this.
So if you have what it takes to put in a bit of effort, you can set up your own online business for nothing & provide yourself with the resources to start making a healthy online income.
What Constitutes a Legitimate Business Opportunity?
A business opportunity involves the sale or lease of any product, service or equipment that will enable the purchaser the opportunity to start a business for financial gain.
Furthermore the provider of the business opportunity can also assist the buyer in finding a suitable location or provide tools & assistance for marketing, selling or manufacturing the product.
4 Criteria for an Online Business Opportunity
A legitimate online business opportunity needs to have all of the following criteria present within the same window of opportunity) to be presented as a business opportunity.
- A need must exist
- There must be real means to fulfill the need
- There must be a legitimate method to apply the means to fulfill the need
- There must be a method to benefit the purchaser
Whilst the above may not be a fool proof way of avoiding a so called opportunity, these key indicators will certainly alert you to any shortcomings in the offer.
So consider the above before parting with any of your hard earned cash to buy that new hot online opportunity.
