For many years you have wondered "how come I am not satisfied while at work?". If you are one of the lucky ones, maybe you do have it just like you want it. I can guarantee you that the person that feels like they own their work and enjoy it, will be better at it and will feel more satisfied than those who do not like their work or feel powerless about their employment. Satisfaction is a key to success.
Choosing which business you will start requires identification of your employment. In order to do that you should search within. Find your preferences of work such as outdoors vs indoors, manual vs intellectual, little contact with people vs constant people interaction, contract driven vs fee basis, etc. You should list the things that are important to you so you have an idea about where to begin.
Remember to be flexible, many times you will be inclined to ignore excellent opportunities because you mind is set on a certain type of employment. Always consider the opportunities that come along, since they are far and few in between. Only follow those opportunities after careful consideration, because what you may already have might be better than the opportunity that comes along, but always consider new opportunities. There is an exception to this rule: if you have enough life experience and wisdom to not partake an opportunity when it is obviously too good to be true...cough...cough...(SCAM)...excuse me.
So aim for satisfaction, know your likes and dislikes concerning what type of employment you want, and be flexible. These guidelines will help you choose a business that you will be good at and you will feel satisfaction from this type of work for as long as you desire.
