Hi, my name is Gerrald (Jerry) Hendrix. I am an internet entrepreneur. I market wealth education, creation and management products and services. To learn more about me, my history and my work at home internet business please visit: Gerrald Hendrix: My Blog Please take some time to browse and feel free to leave a comment.
Let’s be honest. A work at home internet business had never entered my mind until I lost my job through downsizing. I certainly knew that people “worked online” but I rarely thought of it at all.
After losing my job, I of course, began seeking employment and but wasn’t very successful. After spending 36 years doing the same thing, in the same industry, and that industry was basically gone; well you know the rest of the story.
My search for a work at home internet business came out of the realization that I needed a source of income that was:
- Independent of the main stream economy.
- Recession proof.
- Equal to or greater than my previous income.
- Independent of market trends
Considering my total experience was in one industry, my education (high school only), my age, etc. it seemed like an online job would be perfect; but what…?
In my searching I tried a couple of small things to make money at home that were legit, but they were a lot of time and effort for almost nothing.
I began to learn website development, article and affiliate marketing, but it was more learning than earning; useful but not what I was looking for.
A few months ago I “found” a work at home internet business (yes, business) that is essentially an online franchise marketing business. After a lot of thought I decided to check it out.
Once again I want to be perfectly honest and transparent. I have seen and heard of enough schemes and scams in my day, so I was somewhat skeptical initially. I wanted to do some research.
Some of my concerns were:
- Is this real?
- Can I do it?
- How can I do it? Training? Support?
After viewing some information I realized it was real. My questions (fears) were soon answered simply by the amount of information supplied.
I was assured by the fact that:
- No previous experience or computer knowledge was needed.
- Training was supplied and is continual.
- Support is only an e-mail or phone call away.
- I have a personal sponsor.
- The complete business is already “set-up” for me.
- My performance and income is strictly up to me.
One of the major factors in my decision to choose this particular company was the fact that they were also honest and transparent.
The most impressive thing to me really, was there were absolutely no claims of outrageous incomes, or guarantees of income. Many in this work at home internet business have made very high incomes, but only…based upon their personal efforts.
So, I began my second career: internet entrepreneur.
The advantages are many:
- I am now my own boss.
- I can work my own hours on my own schedule.
- I no longer have commute time or expenses.
- I can pursue my own lifestyle and dreams.
It is a business I would highly recommend if:
- You are looking for a primary, secondary or supplemental income.
- You want a “real” business.
- You realize that an internet business takes work, just like a normal business.
I would not recommend it for all. To pursue a work at home internet business is strictly your decision. No one should try to convince you. You will know.
