Buy Environmentally Friendly Clothing

Have you been looking to turn green in all aspects of your life?  If you are like a lot of people you are simply trying to make better choices concerning what you buy so that you are not contributing to any environmental problems.  A great way to go green in an area that you may not have already gone green is with organic clothing such as organic hats.

You’ll find when you start shopping for these items that you can get just about anything that you want or need to wear in organic form.  The wonderful thing is that you won’t have to change your style of dress; you’re just changing how the products were treated before they were turned into clothing.  This sounds odd to many people, but organic clothing really is a better choice.

The reason for this is that cotton crops are abundant but also hard on the environment.  This is because cotton farming requires a lot of pesticide use for the cotton to grow fast and strong the way that the farmers like it to so they can maximize crops.  All of these pesticides are hard on the earth; in fact 25% of all pesticide use for farming is used on cotton crops alone!  And we are wearing this cotton!  It’s quite the eye opener!

If you aren’t sure about organic clothing but you would like to check out some organic items, you can always check out organic cotton bags.  You can use these as totes or for groceries or whatever you need bags for.  This will allow you to see that the cotton can be just as soft and stylish as the items that you currently buy that are not of an organic nature.

Another unique spin on going green is to buy bamboo shirts.  Shirts and other items are made from bamboo fibers.  Many would think that this would result in a very tough, course, uncomfortable cloth but that isn’t the case!  In fact, you’ll find that the bamboo clothing is rather soft and comfortable and comes in many fashions for both men and women, and in fact you can even find these shirts in children’s sizes and styles!

There are a lot of ways that you can bring organic or green items into your life.  While many of us think of food when we think organic, there are great ways to bring green into our wardrobe.  You may find that this allows for you to have clothes and styles that no one else has.  This is a really hot trend right now, so why not check it out and see if you can get some great pieces that you will not only look good in, but feel good about wearing?
