While reading a Health Magazine I came across the most incredible article outlining toxic chemicals in “green” products. I knew that being environmentally conscious was important but I had no idea about the dangers of what we are putting into our bodies and the bodies of our children from products I deemed “safe.” The article appeared to present an unbiased view I found compelling. It went on to cite reputable studies done by the EPA, University of Texas at Austin, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, as well as many endocrine specialists. It can be found in the September 2009 issue of Health Magazine. But, it caused me to really think.
I currently have an environmental home based business which has taught me to be more aware of things in our everyday foods, cleaners, and even water.
