If you're serious about working out with your own home elliptical trainer, NordicTrack's SpaceSaver Elliptical (NTEL7996) is a terrific option. For a very reasonable price, you can own a top quality elliptical trainer with a wide range of valuable features.
The obvious selling point of the SpaceSaver is the ability to fold it down for more compact storage. The base of the SpaceSaver folds vertically, and if space is a big issue in your home, this could be a very important consideration. You can save between 2 and 3 feet of space folding down the SpaceSaver Elliptical. Space saving capabilities aside however, this is still a terrific piece of home gym equipment.
To start with, the NordicTrack SpaceSaver comes with a workout DVD that explains how to use the machine and get the best results in the least amount of time. Whether you're new to elliptical training or you've used other machines in the past, you're likely to find the tips in this DVD helpful.
Using the SpaceSaver is very straightforward and simple, and you'll enjoy the best of the latest technology while you work out. The NordicTrack SpaceSaver features what the company calls StrideSelect technology. This allows you to adjust the machine's stride length to work out different muscle groups. You can get a more comprehensive workout by taking advantage of this technology.
The SpaceSaver Elliptical also features NordicTrack's CardioGrip technology. Your heart rate is monitored when you grip the machine's handrail without wires, attachments or any other accessories. It couldn't be easier to adjust your workout to your "target" heart rate with this technology.
NordicTrack's Silent Magnetic Resistance (SMR) technology allows you to change the intensity of your workout without stopping movement. There are ten different intensity levels to choose from with the SpaceSaver Elliptical.
Customized iFit workouts are an optional feature you may want to take advantage of if you're trying to reach specific weight loss or fitness goals with the SpaceSaver. For a fee, you can sign up for one year of customized workouts plus assessments by a certified personal trainer. The SpaceSaver features an iFit card reader you can use to access your personalized workout trainer's instructions. The computer card will also manage your workout automatically, including adjustments to intensity.
Whether you choose to take advantage of NordicTrack's iFit program or not, the SpaceSaver presents an outstanding elliptical trainer value. Although space saving may be its selling point, there's much more to this elliptical machine than folding down for convenient storage.
