Wrist Drop Recovery Tim
By: Mrs. Harris | 25-08-2008
Hello, can anyone tell me what might be a reasonable recovery time for a wrist drop patient? He does mainenance work and moves heavy items on a regular basis. My husband had some issues with pain and possibly a pulled muscle in his arm about 2 months ago. He received a cortizone shot about 6 weeks ago. Yesterday he banged his arm against a door frame and now he has wrist drop. Is something like this common?
Thank you!
M. Harris~
Swollen arm
By: Athlete's Mom | 23-08-2008
My 15 year old son's left arm is swollen from the wrist up past his elbow. He had a previous surgery a year ago for a compound fracture to the wrist. He also began weight training a week ago...has been on motrin for muscle pain up until day before yesterday (Friday), and has been in (pretty intense) soccer tryouts for this whole week. We iced it last night and got back on the motrin. Any dangers here? Any suggestions?
