The third is for those who want an alcoholic beverage in their hand, and a table in the corner of a Mexican restaurant head over to San Pedro, Placencia Village and Ambergris Caye.

The transport system is very good in Belize. The buses work well, the car rental companies work well and the water ferries work well. If you are taking a longer vacation you can take a bus or plane. For the more adventurous kind, rental bikes can also be availed of at very reasonable prices. If you are cash-rich and time-poor you may want to take the local airlines, however, if you take the local buses you will get a better view of the countryside of Belize. There are two types of visitors: frequent and infrequent. Frequent visitors take the water taxis and ferries and this allows you to get a much closer look at the inland waterways and the river system.

Tourist season runs from December through to June. Rainy season runs from June to November. December to May is the best time to visit Belize to experience the cooler milder weather. The people in Belize are warm, friendly and will greet you with a smile on their face. When you arrive in Belize you will find out very quickly that Belizeans will welcome you with open arms and a warm heart. As a result of this visitors to Belize buy real estate: it's no surprise why. If you look at a place like Long Caye you will see that it has two brilliant attributes; the white sandy beaches and the picturesque fishing spots. Because of these two attributes the rise in foreign owned real estate has been unstoppable.
