The bride and the groom are treated royally. In Hindu wedding rituals are performed in front of the Hindu deities and joining the bride and groom in an eternal bond of love and loyalty.
Hindu Weddings takes place under a canopy, where bride, groom and the priest sit for all the rituals. There is some pre wedding, wedding and post wedding rituals takes place. Like Mehndi, Haldi custom, Dressing up the bride, Phere, Kanyadaan and finally Vidai.

Few post-wedding rituals are Rukhsat Ceremony, Welcoming the Bride, Chauti Custom and Valimah Ceremony.
