Vibrant street life, dilettante nightlife, admix of cultures and treasure of connoisseurs - this is 'amchi' MUMBAI. The intensity of ecstasy has been summed by the rocking nightlife in Mumbai. With a huge influx of global entertainment brands in India, Mumbai has been the pioneer. Mushroomed nightclubs, pubs in Mumbai offer the tourist a wide range of sources for nocturnal spree. The city is fraught with cocktail clubs, hard-rock spots, pubs, coffeehouses, and piano-bar restaurants. The music docket is techno, rock, jazz, western. Aha! A lot many. From long driving, to sauntering on sterling beaches or sampling the local delicacies at the road side food joints, nightlife activities in Mumbai are varied. Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Nariman Point and Fort Road are the famous hang out zones in Mumbai.

 

The calorie combustion sessions at the bars and restaurants give chance to rock and roll till the wee hours. Grooving on the eclectic music and vegging out with raising toasts is very entertaining for night creatures. The city which never sleeps is always effervescent and abuzz with activities. It is city where you will witness the chaiwalas serving you with masala tea and pampering your taste buds with vada pav, panni puri, bhelpuri or paneer rolls.

 

Feel the magic of English style pubs in places frequented by foreigners and Indians is similart fashion like Leopold's and Cafe Mondegar's. Club freaks hail form all over Mumbai aspiring film stars form Bandra, the yuppies of Mulund and people from Kandivili. As the sun goes back to his den the night creature, the party people start venturing out to find some source of refreshment. Almost all bars, restaurants, lounges and club are pregnant with hordes of people. The youngsters find clubs which cater to their choice of music to shake legs on. Hunting for celebrities is also on a wish list for some. They find it all the more interesting and glamorous.

 

Besides clubs and bars you have other alternatives for night out. How about a long drive along the Mumbai Coast line, or relishing tea at Nariman point, or even visiting the Bade Mia - a stall behind Taj Hotel serving you chicken and paneer rolls available till the early morning hours. Not to be missed are savoring pizzas, juices, ice creams at the Bachelor's juice center opposite chowpatty and how can you resist yourself from the enticing Bandra's Band Stand - the most happening place that buzzes at night. Just imagine yourself sitting under the starry firmament along with your friend or your beloved. Hmm! Quite romantic! Well yes, this is Mumbai's night life unrestrained and whirl winding.

 

Each night in Mumbai is like a carnival for nocturnals where whole night can be spent dancing and partying. The lounges, discotheques, bars, clubs provide you with ample opportunities for spending night gleefully. The highlights of these places are the music, dance numbers and drinks.

 

It now depends on you to follow the neon lights to the Mumbai nightclubs and late-night hot spots or try the traditional favorites... the choice is ultimately yours.
