Reaching Ban Phe and Tourist Attractions Near By

How to get to Ban Phe?

Located on the Gulf shoreline of Eastern Region in Rayong district Thailand, Ban Phe is a beautiful small fishing port and also the mainland gateway for Koh Samet Island. As Ban Phe is the departure place for Koh Samet Island so it always sees a large number of visitors throughout the year. Ban Phe is a seaside town and is a major fishing port of this province. This small port is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a long white sand beach while taking the pleasures of eating mouth watering seafood. Ban Phe is about 181 km from Bangkok.

The cheapest way to reach Ban Phe from Bangkok is by taking an air conditioned public bus from Ekamai bus station in Bangkok. Every two to three hours buses depart to Ban Phe and it will cost you around 125 Baht per person. It normally takes around 2 and half hours to reach this destination. If you miss the public buses, there are frequent small buses to Rayong and from here Ban Phe is only 19 kilometers. You can take mini buses from Rayong bus station and it takes around half an hour to reach Ban Phe.

There are also buses from Thanon Khao San Rd area which can help you to get to Ban Phe. If you are looking forward to visiting this major fishing destination in Rayong district from Pattaya then it's advisable for you to take the mini buses to Rayong and then you can opt for half hour songthaews as there are no direct buses to Ban Phe. Most of the local hotels can help you to book your seat in the mini buses departing for Rayong.

Need help in Ban Phe always go check with the people at Bedrock Guesthouse Bar Grill. Koh Samet Island is approximately thirty minutes away from Ban Phe on the ferry and this place is known for its beautiful white sand beaches. However you can get a speedboat cheaply with other guests and then your boat ride is cut down to 10 minutes. People of all ages can enjoy a wonderful time at these beaches as they are absolutely suitable for relaxation. Tourists who are in search of some adventure can enjoy water sports such as windsurfing, scooters etc... Sai Kaeo and Wongdeun are well known beaches for tourists. Kiu, Lung Wang, Prao are some of the beaches which are located far away but there's a really peaceful area near these beaches. Relaxing on the white sand and enjoying the dazzling view of the water or walking on the beach can give you a chance to experience the real nature.

KHAO LAEM YA AND BAN KON AO

KHAO LAEM YA is a small hill which is situated a short distance from Ban Kon Ao. From this point you can get a chance to view the scenic beauty of nature. You will surely be delighted to watch the sunlight shimmering on the sea's surface from this point.

Besides these you can also visit MAE Ramphung beach, Suan Son, Rayong Aquarium and enjoy a great time with your loved ones at this wonderful place.
