The team, meanwhile, lost some ground in the next season and some key members of the coaching team had to be replaced. However, the slump was soon rectified and the team got back to its winning ways.

The Baltimore Ravens have faced other legal issues besides the ones described earlier. Its original logo was disputed by Fred Bouchat who claimed a copyright. The claim was upheld by a jury and the Ravens had to change their logo. Losing the logo does not seem to have hurt the team commercially or professionally. No damages were awarded for the copy right infringement and the level of game was also unaffected. The team just continued its winning streak regardless of the logo they played under.
