Extreme Sports - Which Is your favourite flavour?

Are you an extreme sports enthusiast and an adrenaline junkie? If so, what is your favourite flavoured extremity?

Do you love the rush of gliding, sailing or plummeting through the air? Perhaps you prefer the relative quiet of the snowy mountain slope with its freshly fallen powder just begging you to carve it up by board or ski? Maybe the waves are your home, wind in your hair, spinning and leaping through the wake like the proverbial salmon. Terra firma could be your bag of tricks, as you manipulate the surface beneath your blades and wheels of choice.

This extreme sports phenomenon has exploded into our culture and is snowballing its way into prominence on a world stage. Perhaps it’s the adventure involved that has won a generation of fans over to these sports and its quickly becoming a pandemic!

Following, is a list of extreme sports in no particular order (apologies to those I miss, feel free to add them in the comment section) currently vying for our attention. Do you have a favourite flavour?

  1. Bodyboarding
  2. Kayaking
  3. Motocross
  4. Climbing
  5. Kitesurfing
  6. Inline Skating
  7. BMX
  8. Paragliding
  9. Skateboarding
  10. Snowboarding
  11. Surfing
  12. Wakeboarding

My personal favourite, not on the list and one I may have reinvented myself is extreme article writing! It involves writing the article yourself, using your own brain, all without the aid of any kind of article spinner or constructor!  Now that’s proper extreme!

Back to the sport…Unless you are going to get involved in extreme spectating then you are going to need some clothing and kit, because wakeboarding without the board is generally known as swimming!

Don’t worry though, your new chosen sport will still be considered extreme even if you are wearing protective helmets and clothing, in fact most organisers wont allow you to take part until you have the right gear strapped on.
