10 Trends for Fall Fashion 2010
Fall fashion trends are some of my very favorite for the year. I don't know about you, but I just love it when the weather begins to turn colder and all the major fashion designers put out new lines of clothing. Here are ten of the top vogue fashion ideas for this fall for your enjoyment and emulation.
Who says you have to stick your summery accessories in the back of your closet? Try sporting your neutral beach bag as your everyday carryall to up the cool factor of any basic fall outfit. The best part of this trend is that you don't have to buy anything new – you probably already have a straw bag hiding out in your closet. Personally, I would pair this trend with another classic: animal prints. Animal prints have been in style for several seasons now and show no signs of stopping. I adore animal prints and think a leopard trench coat with a straw beach bag would be absolutely divine.
Even though the fall season is starting you don't have to pack up your floral summery dresses. Simply add tights and they transition straight into fall and the floral fall craze. Or if you like the look of your bare legs, add a blazer instead to give an edgy vibe to your summer frocks. Another way to turn hard-core fall pieces into great transition looks? Pair them with sandals. Keep your toes exposed as long as you can to make the start of fall flirty!
Accessories are the spotlights of any outfit, but you only want one spotlight. With that in mind rock the accessories, just not all at once. Scarves, dramatic belts, or slouchy knit caps are all in for fall fashion. Especially look for accessories with faux fur; it will be a huge trend this fall and make you look totally vogue without going overboard.
Skinny cargo pants are another big trend you might want to consider jumping on. Last year it was military inspired cuts, this year, the skinny cargo is the new kid in town. If you can only purchase one new item for the fall season it should be something camel colored. Whether you like camel coats, camel pants, camel sweaters, whatever; this color is IN for 2010.
