Gucci watches are just one element of a brand that is the biggest selling Italian brand in the world. But why are they so popular?Gucci is the second biggest selling fashion brand in the world second only to LVMH. Created in Florence, it has been in existence since 1921 and is firmly in pole position as the biggest selling brand in Italy. Gucci now has 425 stores worldwide and continues to drive for excellence and creativity.
Gucci is considered a real luxury brand and it therefore prices its products accordingly. This is no different for watches either and some can cost as much as ten grand. These expensive prices then reflect the brand as being of very high quality, and with its dominant and exquisite looks, many consumers find it hard to resist the temptation of wanting one, if not buying it instead.
GUCCI WATCHES
Gucci watches are sold in the majority of its 425 stores worldwide, but they can also be found in top-end departmental stores and jewellery/watch stores too such as Ernest Jones. The majority of them are either one of three; stainless steel, gold or diamond but other variations do exist as well. Gucci watches are also known for their style as many of the designs are totally unique and come from one of the most renowned design teams in the world.
Another reason why Gucci continues to do so well is due to product placement, i.e. many of the leading singers/rappers boast about the brand in their songs. Some of the leading stars include 50 cent, Aerosmith, The Kinks and Snoop Dogg. But Gucci is also depicted on screen too, both in movies and on television, for example one of the all-time classic films Pretty Woman and more recently in the last season of comedy sensation Friends.
So Gucci really is a well-spoken and highly regarded brand. The impression it leaves makes marketing easier for the company who seem to benefit from viral marketing (word-of-mouth and reputation) to support their own extraordinary campaigns. This success therefore will surely continue for many years to come.

In May a friend and I stayed in Montecatini For a week. The city was beautiful and we had a great time. A bus from the Italian Coach Lines picked us up and drove to the Florence airport. When we got there my luggage was missing. They said it must have been put on the wrong bus. I am still waiting for the suitcase to be returned to me.
