After a rainy morning, this was the perfect sunny afternoon for all high profile ladies to come out and have some fun. The capital witnessed a glittering luncheon at The Kylin Experience, where women were seen indulging the pleasure of the newly introduced Spa Luncheon at the oriental restaurant. The event was a perfect blend of Kylin music, nutritious food, thirst scorchers and an assembly of beautiful and gorgeous ladies. Adding to the din, afternoon saw a small showcase of designer Reynu Taandon' snew resort spa wear collection. Guests were seen enjoying the interesting platters of hors d'oeuvres avec light discussions which included hot topics like fashion, accessory, style, Paris Fashion Week and more. Saurabh Khanijo, CEO, Kylin was a happy man- "The Spa Menu is a combination of healthy food with zero level of oil in it. The health savvy food served here will benefit your body in holistic way."

In order to make the afternoon more exciting and glamorous, two beautiful models were seen flaunting the new resort wear ensembles. Crafted in georgettes, the silhouettes comprised long kaftans in muted colours. Offering a beach like feel to the collection, the neckline was embellished with golden thread work and beaded work. Displaying graphical prints and patterns, animal prints, the base shade of the collection is kept somber with colours like off white, pale blue and beige. Talking about the collection, jewellery designer Alpana Gujral expressed, "I feel the collection is really nice and innovative as always. The line is very self descriptive."Highlighting the splash of colours, the palette boasts of browns, turquoise blue, pinks, vibrant blues, purples, yellows, greens, and whites.

Being an artist, Sarita Taandon shared, "it's well tuned in with the inspiration of resort wear. Colours like turquoise and beige are in total synch with the line. The range of muted colours, I think, goes best for a resort or beach wear line." Women who joined Renyu Taandon for the collection preview and the lunch were, Anjana Bhargava, Madhu Sood, Pushpa Wadhwani, Ritu Bansal, Babal Sabarwal, Alpana Gujral, Ashi Burman, Shobhna Naraynan, Meenu Bakshi and Reynu’s designer daughter Nikita Taandon. The gang of ladies was shortly joined by Rahil Taandon (Reynu’s son).

After the delightful lunch, guests were seen indulging themselves in the rejuvenating foot massage session offered by the experienced staff of a+MediSpa. Acting as the perfect host, Reynu was seen attending each and every guest on a personal note. Overall, the afternoon which extended till early evening proved to be a relaxing experience for all the ladies present out there.
