Designer bags: Real or Fake!

To all the women out there shopping for a designer bag, can you tell a real designer bag from a fake bag.

As a true shopper, you should knowwhat's real and what's fake. I personally can't stand fakes, because I prefer carrying a nice leather bag, than to walk around with a fake Fendi or a fake Louis Vuitton bag.

With a fake bag, not only is the material weak, but it looks really cheap and if you really take a close look at it, the thread from the bag usually starts to tear away, and making the bag look less attractive, everyone knows that.

But with a real bag, it will remain to be sturdy no matter what the weather, such as rain, sleet, and snow.

Ladies, did you know that fashion really plays a part in things in your life? So why would you want to carry a fake bag knowing that it really reflects on who you really are as far as style goes.

Don't you know that carrying a fake designer bag says that you are really cheap and you just don't care and you're just perpetrating a fraud because you wouldn't dare go the Hamptons carrying a fake bag knowing that everyone could tell that you bought it out of one of those cheap shops that always sell fakes or just one of those shops on Canal Street or behind the trunk of a car.

Now how can you can tell if a bag is fake?

The way that you can tell that a bag is fake is that the pattern is going in many different directions when it's not supposed to be that way because a real designer bag has the logos going in one direction and the logos aren't supposed to cut off at the seam, however it's supposed to be connected no matter what.

I had a friend of mine that gave me a fake Fendi and to tell you the truth, I knew that the bag was fake as hell and he tried to convince me that the bag was real even after I told him that it wasn't.

But a true fashionista really knows her stuff because in all actuality a real Fendi bag has a silver zipper instead of a gold zipper and the lining will not tear apart and to top it off, the icing on the cake a real Fendi bag doesn't say Fendi Roma S.A.S R on the opposite of the inside of the bag and just doesn't have a lot of words on the inside of the lining, and that's a fact, and to add injury to insult, you can tell from a far that this particular want to be Fendi bag was so fake that you can tell by looking at it, But a real fendi bag has warranty on it.

Ladies, don't ever let anyone convince you that a bag is real especially if you bought it from the street. Because you as a true shopper, should always examine the lining of the bag to guard against puckers and ripples and make sure that the clasps, zippers, and locks are put on properly without any flaws or any hanging threads.

Newsflash: make sure you know your stuff, you don't want to be the laughing stock or the talk of the town.

Did you know that if you go to a store, let's just say a Gucci store and you're carrying a fake Gucci bag, by law the sales associate has a right to confiscate your bag. That's messed up right?

Well in a case like this, not only is it messed up, but embarrassing at the same time. But if you think about it, they have every right to do that to you for the simple fact that they will think you're mocking them with that fake bag by being a copycat, but they will also think that it's disrespectful to walk into their store carrying a fake bag and giving off the effect of misrepresentation of Gucci by wearing a knock off bag and trying to pass off your bag as if it's a real bag.

Know that: They feel it's very disrespectful to them.

Did you also know that with a fake bag, you can never get the bag repaird and the tailor will convince you to throw it away because each bag comes with a registration number so you won't have to go thorugh a lot of red tape to get your bag fixed, so why go through all of that trouble and end up in an ugly position of hearing the help whisper "what is that, this isn't one of our bags." Or just give you a dirty look stating that you have no shame.

Now how would they know that it's not one of their bags?

Easy because the actual handbag design company can tell the durability of the leather, carftmanship, and the construction of the bag, so you couldn't pull that stunt even if you tried, so just don't wear a fake bag acting like you're a big shot because it will never work no matter how much you try to disguise it.

Remember, a real handbag might be a little pricey, but it's well worth the investment so which do you prefer, carrying a fake bag or a real bag, and always remember to  Learn to spot a fake so you won't get scammed and look for quality so you don't get caught in the trap of purchasing a fake bag.

So if you can't afford a real bag, save your money for the real thing instead of going through thne Hassel of getting laughed at, becayuse a true fashionista and socialite wouldn't dare step out of the house, let alone get caught dead with a fake bag, because she knows that she has a rep to protect.
