Manchester United Food and Beverage (Asia) Pvt Ltd and Billionaire Sports Pvt Ltd proudly announced the launch of India’s first ever Manchester United Restaurant and Bar in the country on July 14th at the Intercontinental, Marine Drive. Key design features of the outlets include the Wall of Fame, the Skybox, the Dugout area and giant projector screens to screen 'live' telecast of soccer games and other major sporting events. There is also the popular Managers Bench, a replica of the area where coach and players meet at the playing field and a lively island bar with video walls showing live telecasts of all major sports events.

The flagship outlet, Manchester United Restaurant and Bar will be at Nirmal Lifestyle Mall and is slated to open up by the end of this year. On the announcement of the launch of Manchester United Restaurant and Bar, Andy Yun, Chief Executive Officer of MUFB Asia said, "India is one of the few markets in the world which offers enormous potential and we believe them to be immense for Manchester United Restaurant and Bar."

Sachin Kohli informed "We would also be bringing all the much awaited Manchester United merchandise for the first time to the country." Suvrangsu Mukherjee from the subcontinent said "We are sure that these outlets will help bring the brand closer to consumers apart from offering world class cuisine and a stadium like atmosphere during the screening of matches." Manchester United Restaurant and Bar is a full service, casual all-day dining restaurants that feature predominantly western cuisine and local specialties to suit the taste buds of diners across the region. In addition, there is also strong emphasis on creative cocktails, live telecast of sports events, live entertainment from popular artistes and special themed parties. It is a place where likeminded individuals gather over great drinks and food, to share a laugh.

Adding to it, Ekta excitedly said, "Yes, the gowns are very stylish and trendy. It very much goes with my personality. I am a very vintage person and the gown which I have finalized has some old day charm to it. The dress is very flowy and has a lot of drama to it. The colours are fabulous. Though I would not like to reveal the colour which I have chosen for the finale gown, I want people to check out themselves. I am very superstitious about all this." (Ohhoo alas, the designers have already revealed the colour of the gown but we’ll respect Ekta's superstition). The gowns and dresses have been dyed in a colour palette which includes royal blue, pale blue, shining off white, versatile black and pinkish red.

Nainika said, "The gowns are highlighting a mermaid cut and are crafted with a mix of lycra and georgette." They started with a princess cut gown, the designers then finalized the mermaid cut gowns with tube a neck and flared shoulders as they feel it will enhance her figure the best and will also offer a feminine and elegant look.
