Fashion In Review: 7 For All Mankind

Want style?  Want class?  Want to wear what all the celebrities are wearing?  Then you have found it with 7 For All Mankind!  This uber-popular premium denim line based out of Los Angeles set the world ablaze in the Fall of 2000.  Commonly known as “Sevens” , these jeans have been seen on the backsides of the hottest stars in Hollywood including: Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, Live Tyler, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Affleck, and Ryan Reynolds.  Enough bragging though!  To get a better idea, note that the 7 For All Mankind brand offers premium denim in a variety of styles, bottoms, tops, dresses, handbags, and other accessories.  For women, the prices generally range from $48 to $300 for all apparel and up to $595 for handbags.  For men, the prices generally range from $48 to $365 for apparel and accessories.

Since they were one of the first premium denim brands on the market, 7 For All Mankind is also one of the most well-known.  The ability for the jeans to be both sophisticated, fashion-forward, well-tailored, and cool all at the same time has been one of the many reasons “Sevens” are worn by just about everyone.  The shape, structure, very soft texture and the ability to make the wearer look exceptional (you know, thinner, taller and buns more lifted!) is a style anyone would crave.  The variety of fits for women, including bootcut, wide leg, straight leg, skinny, and petite, are true to size and include that 1% to 2% stretch that definitely makes the difference.  For men, 7 For All Mankind includes the basic denim fits as well, such as wide leg, relaxed, bootcut, straight leg, and slim in mostly 100% cotton.  In terms of other designer apparel, the continued commitment to the classics, from simple tanks to flirty blouses and perfect dresses, any woman would look great in these items.  The long-sleeve crew and always trendy button-up would also look great on men of all different shapes and sizes.

What else is there to say?  There is no doubt to why 7 For All Mankind or “Sevens” has such a loyal (and growing) fan base.  Some of my all-season favorites include the ‘Bootcut in Mercer’ jean and ‘Leather Link Satchel in Grey’ for women and ‘Standard in Havasu’ for men.  So, if you haven’t already, get your tush in a pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans today and feel the difference!  As always, good luck and Happy Shopping!
