Superdry t shirts

Since 2003 Superdry have been putting out designer t shirts and other designer garments to the fashion conscious public. Only recently though since the appearance of the clothes on a few notable celebrities has the brand come into the view of the mainstream public.

You may not have heard of the name Superdry but, whether on the back of David Beckham, Jude Law, Kate Moss or even some of the punters down your local on a Friday night, I can almost guarantee that you will have seen someone, somewhere sporting a tee with one of their designs. Familiar images such as the Wildcat logo, the infamous Osaka baseball t-shirt, or the Superdry motor oil icon seem to be everywhere these days.

Started in 2003 following an inspirational trip to Tokyo, the brand has grown from its humble UK beginnings and is now available in over 22 countries worldwide with over 8 stores in the UK and stores internationally in Brussels, Antwerp, Knokke-Heist, Paris and Saint-Tropez. When you combine these stores with the distribution achieved in UK department stores such as House of Fraser and  Fenwicks, you can understand how the brand has become so far reaching.

This trip to Tokyo combined with a love of Americana fabric has given the brand its unique look and feel on its line of men’s and women’s clothing which feature vintage American styling with Japanese and American inspired Graphics.

Trends in fashion come and go, and Superdry tees are definitely a brand that is on the “come” at the moment, and they don’t seem to be going anywhere for at least quite a long time.
Designs aside, Superdry tees are of the highest build quality and materials so you know that your tees will last you for years to come and you can even pass them down to your kids when they get big enough just like your dad passed down to you that ZZ top t shirt that you, err, wear.

Of course, you pay a premium for designer t-shirts but for some people, this is a premium worth paying as they like to “stand out from the crowd” and be seen in the latest fashions. With Superdry t shirts, this premium is a lot less than with other brands, offering the fashion conscious shopper an affordable designer look.
