What Makes a Great Halloween?

Halloween is a night that is full of ghoulish fun for all ages. The word Halloween brings to mind trick or treating, scary sounds, witches, ghouls, ghosts, haunted houses, Jack O'Lanterns, and of course a fun filled night for the entire family.

You can choose how you wish to enjoy the night from taking the kids door to door, planning a party, visiting all the haunted houses, or even creating your own haunted house. According to the age you want to invite you can have a fun Halloween party or haunted house that is sure to scare the pants off anyone that attends. You can find all kinds of decorations such as Halloween lights, tombstones, witches, spooky sounding tapes, coffins, and more.

First, you must work on the atmosphere. You have to decide if you want scary or just spooky. Remembering one Halloween, one guy was dressed up like the scary guy in Chainsaw Massacre, as you walked up to his porch, he turned on a chainsaw and chased you back down the street. That was a very scary night! Remember, the kids, this was frightening even for adults.

You can find a large variety of props to use to create the perfect atmosphere such as dry ice for the witches brew or to be at the feet of zombies. Spiders hanging from webs, bats, black cats, skeletons, are always great hanging from your porch or trees. You can use a spooky tape, which can include moans, howling, creepy sounds, or even screams.

Decorating for your indoor Halloween can be just as much fun. After you have the yard ready to greet your guest, you must not let them down when they enter your door. You should have the indoors just as creepy. Hang cobwebs around, use candles instead of lights, add a coffin, and of course treats with plastic spiders or other creatures.

If you are going to have children at your party you will want to tone down the scary parts, but for adults bring out the scariest things you can think of and remember to dress the part.

According to the type of Halloween party, you desire you will need the right attire. Of course, if children are present, you do not want to be too scary. You may want to dress as an animal or even a cartoon character. On the other hand, if only adults will be at the party you can find all kinds of sexy costumes or scary ones to make a great impression. For women, you could be the Mummy Mama, the Sexy Army Cadet, or even a Warrior Princess.
