A LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE

He boarded the train in the evening and settled in his seat next to a window. He never dreamt that it was a memorable passage for him. He worked very hard throughout the year and saved sufficient funds. He was engrossed in deep thoughts. He realized that he must fulfil his aim. The dream of owning a property in the land of prairie was a priority on his mind.

His loneliness compelled him to be with someone who could understand his feelings and share values of life. He was also scared by the shear thought of being a failure. At this particular moment, he felt some sat one next to him. He still did not get distracted and continued his journey thinking about his dreams. The train was smoothly running on tracks in the moonlight .The house on the prairie was conspicuous by its elegant beauty surrounded by the lush green field all around the plateau .The site strike his thoughts  reverberating  his dream to be turned into reality. He felt someone’s head was resting on his shoulder .He has woken up and saw a pretty and beautiful girl‘s head was resting on his shoulder. She was sleeping and he wished the journey should continue forever.

They introduced each other and   started a conversation. The train slowed down gradually and stopped at the station. They collected their bags and stepped out of the compartment. He realized the situation was appropriate and offered her to join him for a drink. She accepted his offer and both headed towards the restaurant. He ordered the drink and they continued drinking over the conversation. They realized it was very late in the night, and he asked the girl if he could accompany until her house. She replied she did not have a home of her own. She said it was her dream to own a house on the Prairie .Her reply stuck him like lightening. He sensed it may be his dream comes true. He revealed his dream and thoughts to her. They looked at each other and momentarily became silent. They were in the dilemma as to who should take the initiative and speak their mind.

It was the most crucial moment of their life. They looked into each other’s eyes and an unwritten law of love at first sight prevailed. They took a decision and their new relationship developed into a nuptial knot. They brought their little house on the prairie .It was their dream come true. They decided to put a sign on the door, which reads like this: “GOD BLESS OUR HOME”
