Ramu was a farmer who was both hard working and a greedy man. His aim was to work hard and to make money. In his journey towards money he never cared his wife, Binti, nor his five children, three daughters and two sons. Binti was very sad about it. Her sadness and anger increased on Ramu, since he never tried to spend his time with his family.
When Binti see her neighbor living a happy life, she regrets and curses herself. However Ramu brought every thing necessary for his family and he believed that, that was the only devotion he had to his family. Binti secretly hide her woes away from her children and decided to grow them well. Days passed, children grown and Binti was unable to tolerate Ramu’s attitude. Soon, the quarrel started between Binti and Ramu.

“Binti, I have to work hard for money, and it’s my duty” said Ramu in between their argument.
“For whom you are working for whole the day and night? Children wants you and not your money, please realize this.”
“I give priority to money and you have no right to bide me away from my work. I think I have married you to obey me and not to teach me.”
“How can you be a rude man like this? It was you who loved and married me, and now I am regretting for being a stupid to fall in your trap.’
“If I have been a burden for you, you can take your leave, Binti. I will not object any body. Beware, do not take my children.”
“What right you have to speak about them? Ask them whom they love the most? “

Suddenly, Ramu turned to his children, for his horror, they dispersed from the scene without a word to their father’s question. He didn’t show any change in his mind and turned to Binti at last.

“You might have told lies about me, to them, and that might be the reason, why they didn’t talk to me.”
“Do not be foolish. They hate you. You were not a father all these days, and also now, what right you have to ask them this stupid question?”
“Any way, I have no word to argue any more. It’s better to stop for god’s sake.”

He left the house, all of a sudden. She didn’t expect this. She thought his mind might change, she realized that she was wrong once again. She wept, now little loudly. Soon the house was filled with silence and none broke it.

Next day, Binti’s neighbor approached her. She was there to enquire about the last days shouting incident in Binti’s house. Suddenly Binti slammed the front door, preventing her to enter. But the news of the quarrel between them spread like a wild fire to every body. When Ramu was asked this, he was very angry.
He went home at that moment and locked Binti in her room and beat her harshly. But Binti didn’t respond. To Ramu’s surprise, she begged him to change his attitude. Meantime, children were shouting at their father to open the door. When he finally did, they told Binti, to get ready to leave the house. When Binti objected them, they told her

“Mother, you never told your problem, till now, to us. Yesterday we were surprised to hear that you had a love marriage. You have kept everything as secrets. And we never enquired them to you because we were children. But now, we are capable of understanding the matters, which are getting worse day by day. It‘s better to leave this home. Come on. We cannot tolerate this any more. If you cannot, stay with him. But we shall not be here.”
“But, children...”

Binti was interrupted by her younger child

“Mother, we have already packed our dresses yesterday. We decided to move today, and now it’s the real time. Let our father see our move. “
“He is your father and you cannot disobey him...”

She was unable to conclude her words, when her second son told her,

“We can, he never lived for us, and he lived and liked for money. Even now, it’s continuing like a clock. Let him enjoy his wealth. But we can’t, our elder brother will work for our survival...”

Ramu was hearing all this. It angered him. He shouted,

“I was feeding snakes, throughout this time and now you all are now coming to bite me, is it?”
“Father, you shan’t say this. If you don’t mind, we will return those debts as soon as possible.”
“Shut up! You are talking to your father. Remember it. Now, I am not coming any where. If you want, you can leave.” Binti told them, all of a sudden.

There was silence again. When Ramu started to take his leave,

“Father, you don’t want to leave, it’s us who should go. We have no more right to be here. Our mother is not willing to share her things to us. You have your own work, and we are grown and we don’t want to have a spoiled life here. For your information, we all are taking our leave. I, as an elder brother, will take care of my young ones. Now, we are leaving.”

He called his younger ones and took their luggage. Binti was crying and she attempted to stop them but it was vain. As usual, Ramu didn’t speak a word. Soon, the children left the house.

There was no wonder in it, because, as usual, it was God’s decision.

Days passed, Binti realized her mistake. She wished to be with her children, but her mind insisted her to be with her husband, even though he was cruel and rude. She knew that she has no right to question neither her children nor her husband. She was desperate. She thought that her behavior could bring a change in Ramu’s mind, but he was as stiff as a rock. His duty was going on a regular basis. He never asked or spoke a word. He left house early and returned late. It became a routine and, Binti, all alone, wept and revived her past.

Binti was one among the four children of her loving parents. She was the most educated one too. Her parents were very proud and affectionate on her. They send her to college for her studies and never made her sad. Their other children were not educated ones, and so she was their first preference. But her faith made her see Ramu and they were in love. She neglected her parents and went with Ramu. There was no reason why she left them for Ramu because that was how they loved her.

Any way, now her parents forbade her from meeting them and even her brothers and sisters never contacted her.

She lost every thing in her life for her single mistake, that she done in her past. Her parents, husband and even her children left her, but still, she expects that someday all will come into right.

How Do Pirates Dress for Halloween (and What Do They Do?)

How do pirates dress for Halloween? They can't strap on a peg leg, prop a plastic parrot on their shoulders, apply an eye patch and wrap a red bandana around their scurvy heads. That's no fun at all -- not for a pirate on Halloween. That would be like we landlubbers wearing a suit to a Halloween bash -- the same suit and "business casual" clothing that we wear to work each day.
