Naledi was a poor child of Dan and Lora. Dan was a daily laborer while Nancy done all the domestic works. Naledi was only four years old. She had a friend named Judy in her neighborhood. They both always play together. Judy was a rich girl; however, she loved to play with Naledi who is a poor. Judy got many dolls to play with. Every day she played with new dolls. Judy always asks Naledi to take one doll from her but she refused to accept that. Nevertheless, Naledi also longed to have one, she did not tell her father about her wish because she knew the problems facing by Dan everyday. The money earned by Dan is not enough for the living of three. He always does overtime in his work to earn more. Therefore, she does not want her father to work more for her silly wish.
One day after having her dinner, she went to her bed early. Meanwhile Lora informed Dan that next day is Naledi’s birthday. She heard her parents talking about her and started to dream something. Even after her parents were asleep, she did not sleep. She woke up and started to watch the night beauties through her window. Soon she saw some thing flying towards her. She was scared but when she saw that clearly, she understood that it is an angel coming to pick her to another world. Naledi followed the angel and at the end, they both reached in front of a huge gate. When the angel spelled some prayer, the door opened for them. To Naledi’s surprise, it was the world of dolls. She ran towards them and started to play with them. There were many kinds of dolls. Her mind filled with happiness. She spent a lot of time with them and started to take some rest. Later she heard some one calling her name. She waked suddenly and found Lora standing in front of her. She woke happily and told her mother that she was in the world of dolls. Lora laughed and hugged her. She also wished her happy birthday. After her daily routine, she found her father waiting for her to come. Dan handed a box to her. It was her first experience to receive a present in a box. She untied it and found a teddy bear in it. She thanked her parents and ran out to show her gift to Judy. Naledi got surprised when she saw Judy waiting for her. Judy gave a cover to Naledi and wished her happy birthday. She thanked her and started to open it. Again, to her amazement she found another doll. She was unable to say anything to Judy. They played with her new doll for a long time. Later Naledi understood the plan of the angel who visited her in the last night.

GIRLS: Would you take this role?
By: Krissy | 02-07-2008
So I was offered a small role in a low-budget movie. Basically in the movie there is a big party scene and then it cuts to the end of the night where drunk passed out girls are being carried out of the house (by their friends in the movie) since the party is over. So there will be 3-4 "passed out" girls being carried over the shoulder...and I would be cast as one of these girls. I'm not sure if I should take the part...would you? Please answer all questions below, so it will help me decide!1) Would you be ok with pretending to be "passed out" and letting someone carry you over his/her shoulder? Why or why not? What would you think about the fact that you would be bent over a shoulder with your butt in the air? 2) Would it be ok if the person carrying you over the shoulder was another woman? Would you be ok with her having you "passed out" over her shoulder with your butt right near her face? Why or why not? Would it make a difference if she was bi or lesbian?3) What would you think about the fact that you would have to wear black dress pants (the thin kind with no pockets on the butt) while you were being carried over the shoulder?4) What would you think if the camera angle during the scene would have to be focused on the face of the person carrying you along with your bent over butt in the air right next to her face?5) Would you do the other role? Carry a "passed out" woman over your shoulder in black dress pants and have her butt near your face? Why or why not?6) Would you rather BE passed out and carried over a girl's shoulder with your butt in her face or TO carry a passed out girl over your shoulder with her butt in your face? Why?I know these questions seem stupid and random but I've never really acted before and I was asked to do this part by this girl...so I'm wondering if I should do this???

How Do Pirates Dress for Halloween (and What Do They Do?)
By: Edward Chupack | 17/07/2008
How do pirates dress for Halloween? They can't strap on a peg leg, prop a plastic parrot on their shoulders, apply an eye patch and wrap a red bandana around their scurvy heads. That's no fun at all -- not for a pirate on Halloween. That would be like we landlubbers wearing a suit to a Halloween bash -- the same suit and "business casual" clothing that we wear to work each day.

So there I was, riding my usual train one day, in my starched white shirt, reading the newspaper and looking out the window, exceedingly happy, when I saw a book that another passenger was reading. The book was "Sliver", but I misread the title and believed that the book's title was "Silver", and immediately envied the author that had come up with the idea of writing the memoirs of Long John Silver. Where could I buy that book?

The science fiction story field is far from saturated. In fact, there are few if any fantastic science fiction websites. Unfortunately the media moguls in Hollywood have terrible judgment in this area. The time for science fiction is now.
