They may not give you a large credit limit at first but there are some of the smaller department stores that are going to be willing to give you a little credit before the larger credit card companies that are out there will.
You may even decide to check in to your local credit union or bank to see if they are able to give you a credit card with a line of credit on it. That is going to be one way to rebuild your credit and possibly be able to receive a traditional credit card from one of the many different credit card companies that are out there.
