If there's one constant everywhere in the world, it's trying to make enough money to make ends meet. People try to scrimp and save as much as they can, but sometimes it just does not seem like enough. Well, there are some very simple ways to save some money, with only next to no real sacrifices.

The number one thing that needs to be done is to cut off all possible people who want money from you from your wallet. Now, please keep in mind that this does not mean paying bills, it simply means to not lend money to friends, or relatives.

It should also be done if the family member or friend does not even really need the money. This also applies to letting someone stay in your home. This can run up bills and food costs, and it is best to simply not lend the money.

Another important thing that should be done is to figure up roughly how much money you are spending every month on utilities, rent, insurances, groceries, home maintenance, and any other various expenses you may have.

At this point, it is important to divide up what each individual category of what you are spending. This way you can see how much you are spending on what, and therefore you will know what you may need to cut it. It should also be noted that more often than not, you will be surprised at how many nonessentials you may spend.

Often time it is the smaller, inconspicuous purchases that are made that make the biggest impact on your budget. It could be things such as gas for your car, a pack of batteries, candy, or anything relatively inexpensive. It is important that you save every receipt from your purchases. This will simplify the process of figuring out your budget how much you spend on what.

Another way to save money, that many people may be unaware of, is to stop buying frozen, ready to eat meals. These are typically more expensive than most foods, in addition to not being very healthy.

Despite the fact that many people are on the go, and such meals may seem necessary in order to keep up with a hefty work load, it still comes highly recommended to do away with the TV dinners. There are also other means of saving money, such as turning off lights that aren't in use, conserving water, and things of that nature.

Wedding Ceremony
By: wendi | 08-09-2008
What do I do? My fiancee and I are planning to get married on November 8th, 2008. We had originally planned on having a spring wedding in 2009.But we changed the date because we just found out my brother, who is going to officiate, is being sent to Iraq on November 17th. Most everything can be changed without any problems. Except for one thing that is, where we are going to have the ceremony. We live in a small town and there are not many public places suitable for a fall wedding but we can't go very far due to my soon to be father in law's health. The church we attend is already booked and many of the other churches want $600 or more to use their facilities. Any ideas on where to have the ceremony that will not cost as much?
